Crinan is a small village in a tranquil and beautiful part of Argyll, Scotland with superb views out over Loch Crinan at the entrance of the well known Crinan Canal which has 15 locks at stretches from Ardrishaig (north Loch Fyne) to Crinan (Sound Of Jura)
Crinan is a popular destination for visitors to Scotland, with a stunning basin with small boats and probably most well known of all is the Vital Spark puffer which resides here for most of the year.
Crinan is easy to find, simply follow the road through from Cairnbaan to the end and experience the peace, tranquility and beauty of Crinan.
There are a number of accommodation providers in the area, all giving access to explore Argyll and further south to Kintyre and the surrounding Islands.
Crinan Canal
Crinan is famous for the Crinan Canal which splits Argyll from Ardrishaig on Loch Fyne through 15 locks to Crinan giving access to the west coast Crinan Basin.
